    Folks,

    Here's one question I have which I haven't see in any forums so far (perhaps its lurking somewhere .. who knows) ... let me get to the point.

    When filing for AOS/485, if the I-140 that was filed prior to filing AOS was pending and gets approved AFTER 485 was filed... should we explicitly inform USCIS that that 140 was appoved ?

    I guess USCIS should have that information (of course!) but I am not sure if we should be pro-active and make sure we inform the service center that the 140 was approved ?!

    My wife will be applying for H4 visa (1 st time) some time in march. I am currently working on H1B in US.

    while checking the website for documents required for H4, they ask for the Photocopy of the Principal Applicant�s valid visa.

    Since I am a canadian citizen, I do not require a visa for US and hence I don't have a H1B visa stamped on my passport.

    I would appreciate if you could reply me on this regard.

    Hi,

    I am in 7th year of H1B which expires in Dec 2011. I-140 is approved. Applied for H1B extension in Oct2010 (after 6 yrs completed) based on approved I-140 but got extension for only 1 yr till 2011 (got client letter for 1 yr only) . Can i transfer my H1B to new Employer based on my approved I-140 from my current Employer? If so, can i get 3 yr extension with the new Employer or will the new H1B be valid only till 2011?

    1. After importing Photoshop file in to Blend,right click on any PSD layer that you want to convert it in control.Then choose MAKE IT CONTROL and you can select any style like button etc that you want.
    2. Select the control,in properties panel click on event icon then choose event that you want and double click in it ,then you can write the code for that EVENT in Visual Studio.

    Applied: April first week - it went in 2010 rush
    Received: April last week
    RFE: June first week
    July first week: RFE response sent
    July last week: Approval notice sent
    August first week: approval notice received

    Documents requested for RFE (also suggested by lawyer):
    - Client Letter, role/responsibilities, duties, technologies used, company profile etc.
    This letter also clearly stated all entities involved and their relationships with each other.
    - Purchase Order and Other contract related stuff (all possible). Everyone co-operated.
    - Badge (main bulding, her office), timesheets
    - photos (cubicle/office building,company logo etc), login screen, machine etc, client phone directory
    - copies of recent pay stub and offer letter, job duties

    Thanks to everyone who contribute on this forum. It helped us a lot. This is for my wife.

    Hello,
    I am currently on L1 individual extension in US.
    I will be traveling to India shortly for 2 week vacation. I will be attending the visa interview for stamping at Chennai before my return to US.

    Can someone tell me/share what are the chances of visa getting stamped? What kind of questions to expect?

    I hope that since i am already on extension in US, visa stamping is just a formality at US embassy?

    Please let me know ASAP.

    is this true. My mother came back last year using AP but she never got a new I-94. He AP was stamped and the validity of her stay here. So not sure if you will get a I94 or not. please eloborate.

    Hello,
    so, between my external attorney and in-house immigration people at place that I work for (through H1B, no less!), they have managed to lose the I-131 that was approved very recently. External lawyer has received it and sent it to our internal people, and from that point nobody know where it is.
    What are my options (other than praying)? How long will it take for USCIS to reissue (or reprint) an I-131? Is there a fast method for this?
