    We have filed an I-130 for our dependant child of my husband who is currently an alien resident. We are trying to figure out how to get a work authorization form started for our son as well as he is old enough to work. We can not figure out how to answer his eligibility catagory. Can anyone assist us??

    Is it possible to upgrade a pending I-485 (EB3 I-140) with a newly approved EB2 I-140?
    Is there any USCIS mandated procedure to do that?

    I think it will be taken care automatically, ( since your A number on I 485 and new I 140 will be the same )

    The storyline continues. Last year, 13,500 regular H-1B applications were counted in the first week and 5,600 advanced degree applications. This year 5,900 regular applications were received in the first week and 4,500 advanced degree petitions. USCIS just reported that in the second week of counting, 7,100 regular cases were receipted and 5,100 advanced degree applications.     the quick answers. Draw your shapes in the extrusion editor with the pencil tool. Outside shape of the hex nut and inside shape. If you get the shape you want, it will be a nice hex nut when you return to scene editor.

    The right answer: Draw in illustrator and save your self the headache of drawing to draw anything outside of simple primitives in swift.

    The even better answer. Any other true modeling program will provide better results. (from 3d paint, 3ds, maya, etc..)

    Background Check:

    1. The Interagency Border Inspection System (IBIS) Name Check
    2. FBI Fingerprint Check - Completed - USCIS message
    3. FBI Name Checks

    I went for my 3rd FP 2 months back.

    My question is, Whenever the Finger Print expired in 15 months,

    Will ALL 3 of the above background checks be validated again OR ONLY FP validated every 15 months?

    Hi All,

    I have I-140 with PD of 2004 from previous company. From the current company I had started new GC process.
    a) Previous labor title is software engineer. New labor title is Computer support specialist.

    b) New perm process just started and job order has been posted last month.
    In the job order company didnt give much details and only one sentence which is related to the old labor job description though it has 8 lines describing the job description

    c)Should the above be a problem for porting the PD? Also current company has not done the sunday ads. Can they include all 8 lines describing the job description in the sunday ads?

    d)I am in Viriginia and which sunday news papers do you recommend(EB2)
    category.

    e) Is there any PERM filing fee ?

    Here's another article discussing the embarrassment that is CNN's Lou Dobbs Tonight. I don't need to elaborate on that, but the more interesting part of this article is a discussion of why CNN is so reluctant to fire him.     Hello -

    Can anyone suggest if there is a way to check the priority date on a I-485 application after an interfile request has been made? I am not sure if a call to the Service Center is the only way, or if there is a form I can submit requesting this information.

    The context of my question is this: My original I-485 application was filed based on a LC/I-140 approved by PERM with PD May 2005. But later, as part of backlog elimination, an older LC for me with PD Aug 2004 was cleared and my company's immigration law firm got another I-140 approved based on this earlier LC. They've told me that they contacted USCIS with a request to get my I-485 attached to the older PD. I would like to get this confirmed since a 9 month gap in PDs can easily translate to years more of waiting time.

    Thanks in advance to anyone that can help out or suggest if I should be doing anything different with getting the PD of my I-485 changed.
