I did send my wife's and my daughter's RFE in one package. But have separate cover lettter and folder. One packet is enough, clearly distiguish between two set of papers.
My wife and I got RFE on medical. Now I am sending response to RFE. Do I need to send the RFE response individually by FEDEX or Can I send both of us responses in one FEDEX package? Please advise. Thanks.

Hi,
Currently I am working for employer A on H1B. I have applied for I-485 and have EAD. I have one permanent opprtunity from a consulting firms B. Compnay B is asking me to join on EAD. But threir current client is in Canada. So compnay B want me to travel to Canada, every week, retun back to US in week end. Can I do this while working on EAD. I am just worried wether it will cause any problem. They told that that is the reason they do not want to do H1B.

My Husband's I 140 got approved and his lawyer included my name as well in the I 140 application.
Can some one plss help me by letting me know if I can change to F1 for my further studies inspite of my name being included in the I 140 application

Today, I heard back from a senator and a congressman from New Jersey regarding the webfaxes that I had sent them. Here are a few things that I learnt
The associate in the Senator's office was not aware of this issue and the one in the congressman was only partially aware of it. If this is the situation of the associates who look after immigration with the lawmakers in NJ, where there are thousands of EB-GC aspirants, the situation might much worse in other states.
The associates in the lawmaker's office do take the effort to read through the faxes, thus making it effective to bring our issues to their attention.
Our WebFax application is working fine. Previously I never got replies to my web faxes. What might have helped is the fact that the web fax did have my complete contact information. This makes it more trustworthy in their eyes.
So I request all of you to send out WebFaxes to your lawmakers. It is free for you and takes only a couple of minutes. Once you have sent it, urge your friends also to do the same.
Stand up and be heard.

On November 27, the USCIS announced that they had received 58,900 H-1B petitions toward the 65,000 cap. So there are 6,100 numbers remaining, correct? Hi, Last year, I heard about a new rule that says that H4 time will not be counted against H1 time so basically, if someone is transferring from H4 to H1, the time spent in H4 will be excluded while deciding the duration of H1.
Is this rule true ? I mean, has it become a law now ? Did somebody use this rule to grab the time spent in H4.
Please let me know.

Hi,

1)I am on H1b visa and currently i am on bench. My 140 is approved and my H1b is expiring on sep30 ,2009. I got rfe for h1b extension asking for client letter.
Should i convert to h4 or do h1b transfer if i could be able to get someone to transfer it.
2) Also if I go to h4 visa will my green card processing with priority date remain same if i go back to same employer and ask them to file my h1b again after i get a project. Or they again have to start the process again even with same employer. Also what if i go with different employer.
3. If I apply for H4 visa now and in mean time i get a project before sep 30 2009, then what do I need to do. can i just ask my employer to again file h1b extension.
4) SO if I do h1b transfer or go on h4 what are the pros and cons.
Please let me know ASAP.

I have question to all of you. I am the primary filer to I-485. My wife worked on EAD last six months. Now she is out of project. Planning to go india and come back after 6 months.
Is there any problem, if stays more than 6 months out side country.?
