Thanks - I'll write a mail to the HR head to release 7001 on my request and will mention that they don't have to take responsibility. Enough is enough - i got another 2 yr H extension in July 08 so i should be good,anyway.

I'll keep you guys posted when i receive 7001 from HR by mail and i'll send it to Ombudsman office (along with that cover letter) immediately.

You should be fine. Everything we are doing is legal. We are not doing anything illegal by requesting Ombudsman's office to look into this processing delays.

I emailed them not as me but as my employer( point of contact mentioned in the labor petition) and it works they send me a copy of the labor approval to my house along with a copy to my employer and one to my attroney. It really works.


Is this a PERM application or the labor application at one of the BEC's? Please let us know.

I think you are unnecessarily suspecting her posting. Retrogression kicked in Oct 2005 bulletin. So it is possible for her to apply in Feb 2005. I know for sure some people got their GC with similar priority dates. I think this whole immigration crap is turning everyone into cynical.

I think you do have to change your ideas in this case. Its very simple we cannot do what you plan to do. Lobbying is the only way for us. Illegals did that because they did not anything to loose. We are not in that situation, GC would be nice to have else we can go home or another country and we can survive.
So instead of waisting our time in talking about this, we should try to add members and contribute. I know you are an active member but I am just telling.
first, I don't know what you mean by "Senior Member like you coming up with this idea". Seniority on this site I think is by how long the have been registered. Second, even if it means older members, what does age have to do with this idea?

I have already said that most IV members (clearly you are one) are opposed to this.
My thoughts happen to be different from yours, and I dont plan on changing my ideas anytime soon.

Of course for this to work there has to be a signficant number of participants, otherwise actually nothing is going to work. And even with significant participation, there are no guarantees: look at how many people called Sen Sessions, but still made no difference.

Last, dont you guys get vacation?? Who is talking abut losing money? If you are paid hourly then dont take part.
and if you dont agree you dont need me to tell you dont be a part of this.

But, as mentioned many, many, many times before, I am for this idea, or something that gets attention in a big way.

1) It's annoying to see grown up ppl fight like children.
2) This forum needs to keep it's focus. Members are supposed to help each other and our cause. We are IV and IV is us.
3) we do not need internecine fights, that digress's from our mission.

I am sure you'll get GC by the end on this year or early next year. I might have called USCIS abt 15-20 times and from what I understand dates would retrogress for eb3 India, but not horribly. My guess in of the total applications in August 30% have older PD 02/03/04. Becuause pf PERM processing majority are 05/06/07.

Yes, you are right. It is from beginning of PERM.

So, total number in PERM labors are 144K. Thats good, not many.

So, so if we have 150K BEC cases also, it is 300K for primary and 600K-700K total for 485s.



The report shows 144,000 between March 28, 2005 - June 1, 2007. This is not bad as we all are thinking

Thanks for the idea. May I request you to please inform every one here, number of hours that you can spend volunteering for IV? I ONLY contributed DOLLARS, but never contributed TIME and I feel ashamed of that. There are many people who have contributed both dollars and time.

If you promise some time volunteering to IV for all the ideas that you listed, I am PROMISING to contribute DOLLARS for you. Are you ready? If so, please send email to IV core.

Here is my point. I spend several hours 3-4 hours at least every day looking through the forum posts hoping to find ways i can contribute to efforts. There are several ideas that are generated in the forum. But cannot find out who is leading it. All i am saying is if we can have a listing of initiatives with some names associated. So i can contribute to the ones that i can support.

I am not sure if i am asking for too much here. I am not a IT guy. I do not know what it takes to post it in the front page.
